It is looking more and more like a kitchen! Exciting happenings in the Community Room. Cabinets are in. The sink is in. More changes to come. Thank you, thank you to all the volunteers who have been working tirelessly on this project.
Shine a light for your loved ones by donating to the Tribute Tree! Sponsored by the Friends of the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library of Manitowish Waters, the Tribute Tree will be displayed in the library from November 1 through December.
With a donation of $5, you can light a bulb on the tree – in memory of a loved one, to honor someone special, or to mark a significant occasion. The bulb will have an ornament and tag labeled with the name.
Stop by to shine your light throughout November and December. Or send the following information, accompanied by a check made out to the Friends of the Koller Library:
Donor Name and Phone Number
Name of Special Person or Event
Send to: Koller Library, P.O. Box 100, Manitowish Waters, WI 54545
All proceeds will benefit the Koller Memorial Library.
Changes continue in the Community Room!
The old kitchen is out, electric "stuff" has been worked on, and new paint is on the walls. This photo doesn't do it justice. You'll have to come in and check it out. It looks like a new place! More changes to come including the new kitchen area, new furniture and new carpeting.
Thank you to all the volunteers who have put in lots of hours on this project.
When: Saturday, October 18th 10am
Go is an ancient board game which takes simple elements: line and circle, black and white, stone and wood, combines them with simple rules.
Join us for some fun and exercise your mind! No sign up necessary.
Also, the GO game materials are all on display in the library foyer. Come check it out!
