The Friends of the Library are having their second brat sale of the year in downtown Manitowish Waters in front of the Village Market.
10:00 till 3:00
Brats, hot dogs, chips, beverages, and chocolate chip cookie bars for dessert.
In May the Friends' brat sale raised over $800 for the library. Thank you to everyone who bought treats at that sale! And if you liked them the first time...stop in again on Friday (the 3rd) for a second round.
We have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and it has finally come! The Community Room up-do is finished. The artwork hanging system was installed, and now art is on the walls!
You HAVE to come in and take a look around.
People who came in just after the art was hung said, "This is amazing!"
Local Artist Dennis 'Den' Hill has his photography on display at the Koller Library
Dennis says, "Photography has always been a favorite activity of mine, I had my own darkroom with complete ability to develop and print...film when I was just twelve years old. Mother Nature provides the palette with which I labor over to provide an image that reflects nature in its natural form."
The Dennis Hill Gallery and Studio is located at his home in Manitowish Waters.
You can read more about Dennis here.
Oh my goodness! Doesn't it almost make you want to move into the library?!!
