Join staff of The Wine Barn    on Wed. June 6 at 6:30 for a wonderful wine & beer tasting at the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library in Manitowish Waters.  The Wine Barn in Manitowish Waters offers a warm and embracing Northern Wisconsin atmosphere to relax and enjoy your wine & beer shopping experience.  Samples of various wines are available daily. Many varieties of beer are also for sale. On the first Saturday of each month, a specially themed wine tasting is offered.

At the Koller library, in addition to providing wonderful wines & beers for you to try, Eric will also share tips on pairing wine & beer with foods as well as for cooking and baking.  Using wine & beer in recipes is an excellent way to enhance the flavor of food.  Samples of some food items will be available so you can taste the difference yourself.

January Chill Chaser

Great food, lots of enthusiasm and good turnout were the results of the first, hopefully annual, Chill Chaser sponsored by the Friends of the Koller Library.  Total profit was at $1000, which Marilyn Wittry, treasurer and Pat Hahn, secretary presented to Janelle Kohl, librarian and Donna Fowler, assistant librarian.

 Manitowish Waters Community Foundation’s President, Terry Mueller, recently presented a check in the amount of $300 to Donna Fowler, assistant librarian,  for the Manitowish Waters Frank B. Koller Memorial Library.
